With parents' and carers' needs in mind, we are open from 7.30 am to 6.30 pm, Monday to Friday, 51 weeks a year.
Our sessions times are:
Full-day hours are 7.30am to 6.30pm.
Half-day hours are morning - 7.30am to 1pm, and afternoon - 1pm to 6.30pm.
The nursery will be closed on all Bank Holidays (normal charges still apply).
We are also closed between Christmas and the New Year.

Should families wish for us to provide food and consumables, there will be a charge of £2.00 per funded hour for food (all meals and snacks) and 50p per funded hour for consumables (this includes nappies, wipes, nappy cream, sun cream, toothpaste and toothbrush). If attending full time these rates are reduced to £1.25 per funded hour for food and 25p per funded hour for consumables.
Toad Hall Day Nursery is able to offer fully funded places to eligible parents as part the Government's Funding Schemes. Please be advised that due to the high demand for our care, there may be limited availability for these places. Please contact us for our availability and to be added to our waiting list free of charge.
To secure your child’s space with Toad Hall Day Nursery (excluding funded only places), a registration fee of £50 and a deposit equivalent to one week’s fees will be payable in advance; the deposit will be deducted from your child’s annual breakdown when they start.
Payments are due on the last working day of the month, one month in advance. Invoices will display any funding entitlement claimed, these hours are delivered as part of your child's regular sessions. To help balance the average monthly cost to parents, funding is stretched over 51 weeks of the year (unless requested otherwise). Any temporary additional sessions will be invoiced in advance for payment by bank transfer before the date of the additional session. Should your child's regular sessions change, your fees and funding eligibility will be re-evaluated and a new annual invoice will be issued. This will supersede any existing invoices relating to your child.
