Children will move into one of the pre-school rooms to start preparing them for school.
The children in the Badgers and Owls rooms have a more structured routine taking into account their changing individual needs. Children are offered more independence through a range of opportunities and their environment. As with Rabbits, the children are able to free flow between the garden and the inside environment at points of the day.
We continue the cycle of observation, planning and evaluation into the pre-school rooms, expanding on the children’s prior learning and experiences. We encourage the children to gain more skills and independence, helping them to prepare for the transition to school.
